Updated: 09/07/09 3:28 AM 0 comments | Comments disabled | Share this!Mobile Weapon Zero, for those who haven't played it, is an RPG style battling game set in the land of Sios (though I'm not sure on spelling), where renegade pilots of MaW vehicles, the Mavericks, have taken over Sios's airships, the people's only method of intercontinental travel. You start in a city, where you can buy ranged weapons, swords, and armor, as well as shell out 500 credits for a chance to become more famous. You can also deposit credits at your house for later pickup or go to an apartment building where the landlord gives you 2 powerful pieces of equipment if you have accumulated enough fame. You can check the 2nd floor for small amounts of cash (although sometimes you find nothing) or go to the 3rd floor for one tidbit of info about gameplay. While battling (outside a city, in a area where no other people or objects are, you can encounter enemy MaW's and battle them) you have 3 choices:Sword attack, Ranged attack, or escape. Sword is less effective, but recharges energy faster. Ranged does more damage, but takes longer to recharge. Escape lets you run away if the battle's too hard for you. The goal is too fight your way to the Maverick's lair. There, you fight a Maverick. If you beat him, you win the game. If not, you try again. This is only a "trailer version", so it isn't very long. It's very good, and I think the readers (the maybe 6 people on NG who read my short little blurbs) should try it out. An almost guaranteed 5/5 10/10. Yay, Newgrounds! AthuranRace, signing off!
